35k Palliative For Federal Civil Servants 2024
The Federal Government has initiated a 35k palliative for Federal Civil Servants in 2023 after President Tinubu approved a ₦35,000 wage award for all Federal Government workers for six months.
Many civil servants began receiving their ₦35,000 wage alerts from the Federal Government starting November 2023, and the payments will continue for six months.
Note: The federal government has only paid a palliative wage of 35k for two months in 2023. The payment is expected to continue into early 2024.
35k Palliative For Federal Civil Servants Update 2024
Many civil servants are complaining that the ₦35,000 wage payment has stopped, even though the Federal Government promised them six months’ worth of payment.
“It seems that the palliative stopped after September; there has been nothing since then. October, November, and now December have passed, and still, nothing has been heard.” someone wrote
Businessday.NG reported that the Trade Union Congress (TUC) warned the Federal Government about halting the ₦35,000 wage award to civil servants after just two months.
“Payment has been made just once, or as we speak now, members in the federal civil service have not received a wage award since October.”
