The Federal government has reopened the application portal for the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme program designed to support nano businesses across the country.
About Presidential Conditional Grant
Presidential Conditional Grant offers a grants of N50,000 (fifty thousand Naira) to one million small businesses in all 774 local government areas.
Who Are the Beneficiaries
The program prioritizes supporting specific groups:
- 70%: Women and Youth
- 10%: People with Disabilities
- 5%: Senior Citizens
- 15%: Other Demographics
What Businesses Qualify
Many small business types qualify, including traders, food vendors, ICT businesses, transportation providers, creative businesses, and artisans.
Several business types are eligible to apply, including:
- Traders: Single retailers, corner shop owners, petty traders, market sellers
- Food Services: Food and vegetable vendors
