FG New Minimum Wage Coming In 2024
President Tinubu has introduced the FG new minimum wage in his 2024 New Year speech confirming that workers will finally be happy with this program.
In his New Year broadcast, President Tinubu stated that the federal government is making efforts to assist every poor, vulnerable, and working-class citizen.
In 2023, the Federal Government had already initiated a 35k Palliative For Federal Civil Servants for a duration of two months.
Furthermore, they assured that the 35000 wage award would persist for an additional four months, totaling six months.
FG New Minimum Wage Coming In 2024
In 2024, President Tinubu said the FG new minimum wage will be implemented in the new year 2024. and they will make sure every Nigerian feels the impact of their government.
“It is in this spirit that we are going to implement a new national living wage for our industrious workers this new year. It is not only good economics to do this, it is also a morally and politically correct thing to do.” He said
“I took an oath to serve this country and give my best at all times. Like I said in the past, no excuse for poor performance from any of my appointees will be good enough.” Tinubu said
The Federal Government had already created a Conditional Cash Transfer program in 2023, and many Nigerians received a cash transfer of ₦25,000 from the FG.
“I will fight every obstacle that hinders business in Nigeria.”
